Premium Flocking Silicone: Secure, Soft, and Wash-Resistant

Achieve exceptional wash durability and eliminate the frustration of peeling flocked designs. Our flocking silicone series is engineered specifically as a high-performance anchoring adhesive for electrostatic flocking.

Designed to overcome common industry challenges of stiffness and cracking, our advanced silicone chemistry creates a highly durable, soft, and flexible bond. It enables flocked fibers (nylon, viscose, or polyester) to stretch naturally with the garment. This makes it an ideal solution for high-end sportswear, lingerie, and luxury fashion, where premium comfort and long-lasting quality are essential.

Premium Electrostatic Flocking Silicone Ink

Key Performance Advantages

Engineered to elevate your flocking quality and production efficiency.

Premium Soft-Hand Feel

Cures into a highly flexible elastomer. The printed area maintains exceptional softness and natural drape, ensuring a premium tactile experience on high-end garments.

High-Performance Stretch

Ideal for Spandex, Lycra, and activewear. With >350% elongation, the adhesive strongly resists cracking and de-bonding, maintaining structural integrity during intense physical activity.

Exceptional Wash Durability

Reliably passes rigorous 60°C wash tests (50+ cycles). Specifically formulated to aggressively secure fibers, effectively minimizing flock shedding (“balding”) over the garment’s lifespan.

Eco-Compliant & Safe

100% PVC-free, Phthalate-free, and Solvent-free. Formulated to strictly comply with ZDHC standards and global top-tier brand RSLs (Restricted Substances Lists), enabling risk-free sustainable production.

How to Use: Operation Process

The key to success is “Wet-on-Wet” application.

Step 1: Preparation & Screen Printing

Mix the Silicone Base with the Catalyst (e.g., 10:1). Add pigment if a colored base is required. Mix thoroughly.
Use a high-density mesh (80-100 mesh). Print the silicone on the fabric 2-3 times to build up a sufficient adhesive layer thickness.
Critical: The silicone layer must be thick enough to hold the flock fibers.

Step 2: Flocking (The Crucial Step)

Do not cure the silicone yet. While the silicone is still wet, immediately apply the flock fibers using an electrostatic flocking machine. The static charge drives the fibers vertically into the wet silicone.

Step 3: Pre-Drying

Pass through a low-temperature oven (80°C – 100°C) to set the surface and fix the fibers.

Step 4: Final Curing & Cleaning

Final Curing: Bake at 130°C – 150°C for 2-3 minutes. This fully cross-links the silicone for maximum durability.
Cleaning: Vacuum or brush off excess/loose fibers.

FAQ – Troubleshooting

Q1: Can this silicone adhere to waterproof nylon jackets?

A: Standard silicone may struggle with DWR (water-repellent) coatings. For waterproof nylon, we recommend adding our X-Linker Bonding Agent or printing our Universal Silicone Primer first to ensure adhesion.

Q2: Why is my flocking shedding after washing?

A: This usually happens for two reasons: Under-cured: The oven temperature or time was insufficient. Ensure the core of the silicone reaches 130°C+. Too thin: The silicone layer wasn’t thick enough to grip the fiber roots.

Q3: Is this product suitable for baby clothes?

A: Yes. Our silicone is chemically inert after curing and passes rigorous safety tests (OEKO-TEX Class I), making it safe for infant textiles.

Q4: Can this be used on Nylon?

A: Nylon is slippery. We recommend adding our Nylon Linker to the embossing silicone mixture to ensure it bonds to the fabric and doesn’t delaminate.

Q5: Can I add color to the Embossing Silicone, or is it only for u0022Tone-on-Toneu0022 effects?

A: No, we strongly advise against this. To effectively block dyes, the activated carbon must form a concentrated base layer (the shield). Mixing it into your white ink dilutes its absorption power and will turn your top-coat white into a permanent muddy grey. For maximum protection, always follow the “Sandwich Method”: Print the pure blocker first, flash, and then overprint with High-Opacity White.
