Operational Process
Printing High Density requires technique. Follow these steps for the perfect “Brick” effect
1. Screen Prep (Crucial)
Use thick capillary film (100-300 microns) or coat your emulsion multiple times (e.g., 2 coats print side, 4 coats squeegee side).
Mesh: Use 86-110 mesh (34T-43T). You need open mesh to let the thick ink pass through.
2. Mixing & Underbase
Mixing: Mix HD Base + Catalyst (10:1) + Pigment. Stir well but try not to whip air into it.
Underbase: If printing on polyester, print 1-2 layers of Elastic Silicone or Linker first to establish a bond.
3.Building the 3D Effect
Print-Flash-Print. Squeegee: Use a hard squeegee (75/85 durometer) with a sharp edge. Keep the angle vertical (approx. 75°). Flash Curing: Flash at 100°C – 120°C for 10 seconds. Expert Tip: Do not flash too hot! If the surface skins over too fast while the inside is wet, bubbles will trap and burst.
4. Finish & Final Cure
Finish: Print a final layer of Matte or Glossy Topcoat to seal the surface.
Final Cure: Bake at 150°C for 2 minutes.

FAQ – Troubleshooting
A: With a thick stencil (200 microns), you can achieve a good 3D effect in 4-6 print strokes. With standard stencils, you may need 10+ strokes.

A: Yes. Build up the thickness with the HD Silicone (which is usually translucent or matte), and print the final 1-2 layers with our Glossy Topcoat Silicone.

A: When creating multi-colored 3D effects, avoid “over-flashing” the bottom layers. The surface should be “touch-dry” but still slightly chemically active (around 100°C for 8-10 seconds) before applying the next color. If a layer is fully cured or becomes too hot/slick, the subsequent silicone layer may struggle to bond, leading to delamination after washing. For complex designs, printing a “wet-on-wet” flash technique ensures the 3D structure becomes one solid, indestructible piece of silicone.
